Mom's I Am Scrapbook, Christmas Edition

This is my "I Am...Christmas Edition" scrapbook for my Mother this year.  I used "Holiday Snows" template pages from Legacy Designs.  I changed the background papers to "Vintage Christmas" by AneczkaW Designs just because I liked the look of those papers for this particular scrapbook.  I used My Memories v4 software.  It's easy, intuitive and fun.  I was able to spend more time just playing around with the pages until I had them just the way I wanted them...without having to spend unnecessary time trying to figure out how to get all this to work in my photo editing program (which I also like.)

Project 52, Pages 3 and 4

Project 52

These pages are the first two prompts from Project 52 sponsored by My Memories Blog.  I've enjoyed the weekly prompts and have actually verbalized/written some truths about myself that I knew, but really hadn't honored.  For the whole of Project 52, I will be using Black 2 Basics, Classic Beauty and Capturing Memories as my main scrap papers and elements.  However, I'll also add embellishments from other digital sets.

Boo's Family Scrapbook

This is one page in a scrapbook for my husband, Boo.  He has had several strokes and needs relatively uncluttered pages.  I will include some simple journaling.

Mom and Freddie, Christmas 2012

This is another page in Mom's Christmas Scrapbook.  Mom and Freddie acted like the nuts they are.

I Scrap...

This is part of the 40 Day Scrap Challenge.  I think this is the second day.  I found out about it after it had begun.  So now I'm playing catch up.  This particular challenge is a real challenge for me.  I'm planning to do each of the pages in Paint Shop rather than the much simpler scrapbooking program I have.  The biggest challenge is that the journaling prompts are so personal.  Examining my reasons for scrapbooking, for being an artist (Me, an artist?!)  have definitely stretched me.  This should be a great learning experience for me.
